I could not pass up this opportunity to share this experience with all of you!! This was a lovely sign we saw near Plymouth Sound. As we were walking along The Hoe, we stumbled across this sign and were curious to find out what tomb-stoning was all about. As we continued down the road, we saw a whole bunch of teenagers in wet suits. Check out this video to get a glimpse at what we saw ...
Tara is the "real" expert on this teenage pastime, so if you want to see the full impact version, check out her blog! From watching these boys jumping off of cliffs for a while, it seems like the kids try to find high points to jump off of into the water ... there are some areas that appear much less dangerous than others, but from watching these teenagers, I would say this location is one of the more dangerous places. It might be hard to tell in this video, but there were a TON of large boulders in the water, so the kids had to make sure they jumped far enough away from the rocks so they would not get injured!! Yikes, I'll stick with softball!!
