Day 1: Traveling to London (June 28th)

So here the story begins ... Michelle and I arrive at Metro Detroit Airport! Our parents met eachother then sent us on our way. We met up with some of the girls that we would be traveling with ... Nicki, Amy, Kailey, Tara, Tina, and of course, Robin. To started off the trip on the right foot, Tina, Michelle, and I figured we would get one last "American" beverage in an on-line cafe at the airport before we left the states - Budweiser and a vodka/cran for Tina. Soon we were on our way to Plymouth ... traveling by night we figured we would sleep the whole way there, but little did we know we would end up staying up talking the whole night!! First, we had a very pleasant surprise ... our beverages of choice were free on international flights! We decided we would start a trend of trying non-American beverages! First choice - Heineken. Good choice! Then, it was time for food which was ...well, let's just say mediocre at best. A lovely glass of wine helped wash down our chicken and pasta.
